Gatmer Vakti is a recipe library run by the operator of Gatmer Vakti. These terms are between you and them.
You need an account to publish recipes, leave reviews or follow other cooks. You can browse without one.
Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has got in.
You must be old enough to agree to a contract where you live. If you are under 16, ask a parent or guardian first.
You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, reviews and notes you post. By posting them you give the operator of Gatmer Vakti permission to store, display and translate them on this site, and to show extracts of them in search results and feeds. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies already cached or held in backups.
Only post things you have the right to post. Don't copy someone else's recipe text or photographs without their permission.
Content can be flagged by any reader. Anything that breaks these rules may be hidden or removed, and repeat offenders may lose their account.
Recipes here are written by home cooks, including people you don't know. Cooking involves heat, sharp tools and raw ingredients — use your own judgement, and check that meat, fish and eggs are cooked through.
Allergen labels on this site are worked out automatically from ingredient text. They will miss things. If you have an allergy or intolerance, read the full ingredient list yourself and never rely on the label alone.
Nutrition figures, drink pairings, substitutions and imported recipes are generated by an automated system and are estimates. They are not dietary or medical advice.
The site can build a draft recipe from a web page or a video you point it at, and can generate a cover image. Imported recipes normally carry a credit saying where they came from; an administrator can hide that credit on a particular recipe, but the source is still recorded and we can trace it if you ask.
A recipe drafted by a model carries a notice saying so, and a generated cover image is marked on the picture itself. As with the source credit, an administrator can hide those notices on a particular recipe; the fact that a model was involved is still recorded.
Only import material you are allowed to use. You are responsible for what you publish, whoever or whatever drafted it.
The site is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available, or that recipes, timings or figures are correct. Features may change or be withdrawn.
As far as the law allows, the operator of Gatmer Vakti is not liable for loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
